Troubleshooting

No internet, no signal, slow speeds, or a deleted eSIM.

Data not working after install

Work through these in order:

  1. Turn on the BellRoam eSIM line and set it as the data line.
  2. Enable Data Roaming for that line (required for travel eSIMs — you won't be charged extra).
  3. Turn Airplane mode on and off, or restart the phone.
  4. Android APN: some plans (e.g. Vinaphone Pottel) require you to add an APN manually — the exact APN name is in your order email. Settings → Mobile network → Access Point Names → add it.
  5. Make sure you have arrived at the destination — the eSIM connects to the local network there.
eSIM installed but no signal
  • Confirm the eSIM line is toggled on in Settings.
  • Manually select a network: Settings → Mobile network → Network selection → choose one of the partner carriers.
  • Restart the device after arrival.
  • If nothing appears after 15–20 minutes at the destination, contact support with your order number.
My data is slow

Speed depends on the local network, coverage, and congestion — BellRoam is a reseller and can't control carrier-side conditions. Try selecting a different partner network manually, move to an area with better coverage, or toggle Airplane mode to re-register. On per-day plans, speed may reduce after the daily allowance and refreshes the next day.

I accidentally deleted my eSIM

A deleted eSIM usually cannot be reinstalled from the same QR code, and each profile installs on one device only. If this happens, contact [email protected] right away with your order number — we'll review the case. To avoid it, don't remove the eSIM until your trip ends.
