Device compatibility

You need a phone that (1) supports eSIM and (2) is carrier-unlocked. Most recent iPhones (XR and later), Google Pixel (3 and later), and flagship Samsung Galaxy models support eSIM. See our full device compatibility list.

• iPhone: dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM.
• iPhone Settings: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM should be available.
• Android: Settings → About phone → look for EID, or Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM.

A carrier-locked phone will not accept a third-party eSIM. Ask your original carrier to unlock it (often free once your contract or device is paid off) before installing a BellRoam plan.
